PRA’s Publications, Library and Business Consultancy service can extract the essential, up-to-date information you need and deliver it to you promptly. The PRA World Surface Coatings Library is a unique resource for coatings and chemicals companies to research into the latest developments and to investigate the prior art of the industry.
We have the largest independent library in the world dedicated to surface coatings, established 80 years ago. Our team comprehensively screens all new and relevant technical knowledge on surface coatings. Clients can maximize benefit from this by setting up alerts on key topics of interest which are run against new items in our World Surface Coatings Abstracts database.
The Library also produces Paint Titles, a weekly alerting service for the coatings industry which is free to PRA Members. Members have free access to the Library and can browse the wide variety of paint-related journals, conference proceedings and books. A photocopy service is also available.
The PRA Library is your gateway to all surface coatings information resources, at PRA and beyond.
PRA’s publications portfolio has a range and depth of coverage to meet your needs for high-quality, focused and up-to-date information on surface coatings worldwide.
Our publications fall into four groups:
Jonathan Bourne, an established management consultant and chemicals sector expert, has established a high calibre team at PRA to respond to ad hoc and bespoke information needs. We can support strategic planning, business development and acquisitions due diligence with market research and executive coaching; the team is unique in terms of experience and combination of both market and technical knowledge. We expanded in 2007 through the acquisition of Irfab Chemical Consultants, based in Brussels. Irfab's multi-client study programme provides in-depth market and technology trends analysis and forecasting. The Irfab Global Industrial Coatings Study 2006-2020 was recently published and can be purchased in whole or in part.
