PRA is looking for a part-time scientific technical writer with experience in health, safety and environmental issues and/or knowledge of the chemicals/coatings industry to cover maternity leave (commencing at the end of July) for a period of 6-12 months. Further opportunities for career development exist for candidates with wider information services ambition, including full-time working if desired. The position of SHE Alert Editor is based in Hampton, Middlesex (UK) with some remote working possible.

An opportunity has arisen in our busy, UKAS accredited, testing laboratory for short-term secondment training. This position will be of particular interest to organisations who wish to have one of their employees trained in the use of paint testing equipment and the interpretation of the results. There will also be the opportunity to attend one of the training courses in surface coatings technology that we hold at PRA.
The secondment can be for either six or twelve months and the successful candidate will participate in the day-to-day work of the laboratory for a wide range of clients.
