Research Projects for Future Consideration

PRA is always interested to hear from members or non-members who have ideas which could form the basis of future individual or collaborative projects.

The following topics are under consideration as possible collaborative projects.

• Wood Protection - natural exposure testing of commercial products according to the CEN standard
• Anti-Graffiti Coatings - testing of commercial products according to the ASTM Standard
• Cure Monitoring for Shorter Cycle Times a project proposal is available for download (~56KB)
• Progression of the study into Non-Destructive Adhesion Measurement for Coated Surfaces.
• Formulation for Compliance with the 2007-2010 Decopaint VOC Directive.

It is anticipated that most of these projects would attract partial funding from the public sector.
